Wales is famous for its choirs, as Rowan Atkinson/Black Adder insinuates. It has inspired the creation of Welsh male choirs in places as far away as Montreal and Melbourne. Bryn Terfel is a world famous baritone.
Cardiff is the capital of this Celtic culture and is kept vibrant with Cardiff University College. There is ample opportunity to work on your Welsh as a resurgence of Welsh culture (and the English giving up on the notion of assimilation) has taken place since 1975.
Swansea is the home of the poet Dylan Thomas, famous for A Child's Christmas in Wales.
Snowdonia Forest & National Park covers 2176 sq. km (840 sq. mi.), stretching from Machynlleth to Bangor and Conway. The park is about hiking and enjoying sheer cliffs, rough and rocky outcrops.
